Our team is growing: a new certified instructor, specialised in acrobatic flying, has joined the club.
Here is what that means for training, and how you can start learning with us.
What a certified instructor is
A certified instructor has completed specific training and holds the qualification needed to teach and accompany students. The job goes beyond explaining technique: they assess the conditions, decide when to fly and adapt each lesson to the student.
That qualification matters most at the beginning, when the habits that stay with a pilot for life are formed.
What acrobatic flying is
Acro means performing controlled manoeuvres such as very tight turns or abrupt changes of direction and speed. It demands good command of the wing and specific training.
It is not for beginners and not part of introductory tandem flights. It is taught with proper instruction, suitable equipment and controlled conditions.
How to start training
If you have never flown, the first step is an introductory course covering ground handling, take-offs, landings and reading the wind. Later you move on to longer flights and more advanced techniques.
If you already fly, tell us your level and goals and we will suggest the right course.
A new instructor means more training and more safety for everyone. Write to us if you would like help choosing a course.
