Insurance is easy to ignore until you need it. Before a paragliding flight, it is worth knowing what is covered and by whom.

This is general information, not legal or insurance advice: always read the actual policy.

Ask the operator

Ask whether accident insurance is included in the price and what it covers. Our flights include accident insurance. Request details in writing if you want them.

Check your travel insurance

Many standard travel policies exclude air sports or require an extra. Read the exclusions and call your insurer if unsure.

Independent pilots

Pilots flying with their own equipment should hold civil liability and personal accident cover suitable for paragliding, ideally through a federation or specialist provider.

Keep records

Save your booking confirmation, policy number and emergency contact numbers, and share them with someone you trust.

Ask early and keep it clear. If you have questions about our own cover, write to us before booking.
